2023 WABA Member Meeting

Join WABA for our annual member meeting, a once-a-year meeting opportunity for WABA members to gather to learn more about your impact and ask questions of the board. 

WABA members will meet and ratify the incoming Board of Directors, hear from WABA’s interim Executive Director Julie Meyer.

Then, take your pick of breakout rooms (or popcorn between them!) to learn about the different ways you can get involved, stay connected, and support WABA (see details below).

Reminder: WABA membership is pay-what-you-can. A personally meaningful contribution of any amount makes you a dues-paying member for one year. That means if you’ve made a gift in the last year, you’re a member and we’d love for you to attend! If you’re not sure, the registration page will check automatically for you.

6:00 PM — Call to order and board business 

• Recognition of outgoing board members
• Introduction to new board members 
• Vote from WABA members on the 2023 Board of Directors

6:40 PM — Remarks from Julie Meyer, Interim Executive Director

7:00 PM —Breakout rooms — pick one, or popcorn through!

• General Q&A with WABA leadership  

Your chance to connect with the board of directors and interim executive director following board business and remarks by WABA leadership.

• Volunteering at WABA 

Learn about seasonal and ongoing opportunities to support fellow bicyclists, share stories with other WABA members, discover new ride routes and push for change in your neighborhood.  We’ll talk about on and off bike volunteer opportunities, ways to get involved with advocacy, and how you can support WABA by hosting a fundraiser. 

• Digital Engagement 

There are changes afoot at WABA around how we stay connected! How would you like to get your news from WABA?  Come share your thoughts and hear about the weekly WABA newsletter and other ways to stay up to date on all things WABA.
